L\u2019objectif de cet article est de faire une analyse s\u00e9mantique de certains patronymes \u00e9w\u00e9 motiv\u00e9s par la divinit\u00e9 H\u00e8vi\u00e8so\u0300 \u2013 le dieu du tonnerre ou de la foudre dans la culture \u00e9w\u00e9. Nous avons proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019analyse des morph\u00e8mes des patronymes s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s afin d\u2019aboutir \u00e0 leurs significations et messages v\u00e9hicul\u00e9s. L\u2019\u00e9tude a permis d\u2019\u00e9tablir que les ramifications de sens sugg\u00e9r\u00e9es par le nom de cette divinit\u00e9 communiquent non seulement un message de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 psychologique mais aussi celui d\u2019un message \u00e9ducatif empreint de connotation morale. L\u2019article a \u00e9galement permis de situer ce qui lie le tonnerre au diast\u00e8me, \u00e0 l\u2019albinos, ou encore \u00e0 un descendant de So\u0300do\u0301k\u025b \u0303\u0300, de So\u0300su\u0301 et de So\u0300fa\u0301tu\u0300. Enfin, la pr\u00e9sente \u00e9tude a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de ne pas confondre l\u2019identit\u00e9 culturelle avec les consid\u00e9rations religieuses.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">Mots-cl\u00e9s: patronyme ; h\u00e9ritage linguistique ; morph\u00e8me ; d\u00e9notation ; connotation.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">Abstract<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">Ignorance of the meaning of names used by many generations of descendants keep the latter from a patrimony whose richness is related to linguistic legacy. This article aims at conducting a semantic analysis of some Ewe patronymics motivated by the H\u00e8vi\u00e8so\u0300 deity \u2013 the god of thunder or lightning in the Ewe culture. The morphemic analysis of the selected patronymics has helped reach their conveyed meanings and messages. The study has established that the sense ramifications suggested by the name of this deity communicate not only a message of psychological security but also that of education loaded with some moral connotation. The article has also helped identify what relates the thunder to the diastema, an albinos, or a descendant of So\u0300do\u0301k\u025b \u0303\u0300, of So\u0300su\u0301 and of So\u0300fa\u0301tu\u0300.
