Le rep\u00e9rage de cette variation dans diff\u00e9rents contextes connote le pouvoir polys\u00e9mique de ce lexique qui est un \u00e9l\u00e9ment caract\u00e9ristique de ce dialecte. L\u2019\u00e9tude s\u2019inscrit dans la perspective polys\u00e9mique de Catherine Paulin et Henri B\u00e9joint et permet de mieux cerner la probl\u00e9matique polys\u00e9mique qui s\u2019instaure entre les locuteurs de ce parler. L\u2019\u00e9tude s\u2019appuie dans sa d\u00e9monstration sur la th\u00e9orie polys\u00e9mique pour montrer les circonstances dans lesquelles la polys\u00e9mie pose un probl\u00e8me s\u00e9mantique en hwegbe.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Mots-cl\u00e9s: morph\u00e8me polys\u00e9mique, trait caract\u00e9ristique, ton ponctuel, \u00e9nonc\u00e9.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Abstract<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">The present study sheds light on the variation of meaning linked to the change of tone on the lexical morpheme \/y\u0254\/ in hwegbe. The identification of this variation in different contexts connotes the polysemic power of this lexicon which is a characteristic element of this dialect. The study falls within the polysemous perspective of Catherine Paulin and Henri B\u00e9joint and permits a better understanding of the polysemous problem that arises between the speakers of this variant.
