The paper underscores the fact that the authoress\u2019 protagonist\u2019s encounter with the white man\u2019s religion and culture has turned him into a confused man due to his inability to draw a line between culture and religion. As a result, he cannot maintain peace and harmony within his society.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Keywords : Culture, Religion, Fanaticism, Violence<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">R\u00e9sum\u00e9<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Dans cette \u00e9tude, j\u2019utilise la th\u00e9orie postcoloniale pour analyser la probl\u00e9matique du fanatisme religieux dans Purple Hibiscus de Chimamanda <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Adichie. L&rsquo;article souligne le fait que la rencontre du protagoniste de l&rsquo;auteure avec la religion et la culture de l&rsquo;homme blanc l&rsquo;a transform\u00e9 en un <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">homme habit\u00e9 par la confusion en raison de son incapacit\u00e9 \u00e0 distinguer entre culture et religion.
