De Graft and William Henry Smith. In the process, the paper investigates internal mechanisms of improving relationships and education in a home as portrayed by the two playwrights through the characters\u2019 analysis. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Through the lenses of the Marxist approach, the paper has discovered that J.C. De Graft\u2019s Sons and Daughters and William Henry Smith\u2019s The Drunkard scrutinize education that guarantees individual and community development. The paper therefore argues that there is a need to reconsider education on the basis of the realities of both African and American settings.<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">Keywords: education, development, community, life, marxism.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">R\u00e9sum\u00e9:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">L&rsquo;objectif principal de cet article est de mettre en \u00e9vidence le type et la place de l&rsquo;\u00e9ducation n\u00e9cessaires au d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019une communaut\u00e9 comme celles que d\u00e9crivent J.C. De Graft et William Henry Smith. Dans le processus, l&rsquo;article \u00e9tudie les m\u00e9canismes mis en place en vue de l&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration des relations interpersonnelles aboutissant \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9ducation tels que d\u00e9crits par les deux dramaturges \u00e0 travers l&rsquo;analyse des personnages. \u00c0 travers le prisme de l&rsquo;approche marxiste, l&rsquo;article a d\u00e9couvert que Sons and Daughters de J. C. De Graft et The Drunkard de William Henry Smith ont analys\u00e9 l&rsquo;\u00e9ducation qui garantit un d\u00e9veloppement individuel et communautaire.
