Indeed, against pieces of advice preached by apostles of non-violence (Martin Luther King, Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi come to mind), many, in order to make their voice heard, have developed rebelliousness and have become assertive in dealing with white people, who first used sheer force on them. However, this essay, rather, presents violence as it operates among the black folks only\u2014. It alludes to how Blacks exert violence on other Blacks, as a result of their unfulfilled lives in their white-dominated worlds. Racial threat theory which is one of the dominant theories explaining racial inequality, examines the manifestations of intra-racial violence and concludes that white supremacist ideology, promoted through racial violence and injustice, sustains black-on-black violence.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">Keywords: Inter-racial, intra-racial, violence, Black, White.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">R\u00e9sum\u00e9<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">La violence interraciale\u2014violence contre les blancs\u2014est souvent consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme la seule forme de violence perp\u00e9tr\u00e9e par les noirs pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 l\u2019injustice dont ils sont souvent victimes dans les pays o\u00f9 la s\u00e9gr\u00e9gation raciale est la norme. En effet, plusieurs noirs, malgr\u00e9 les discours faits par les ap\u00f4tres de la non-violence (Martin Luther King, Jr. et Mahatma Gandhi, etc.) ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un esprit de r\u00e9bellion et une ferme position dans leur rapport avec les blancs, qui sont les premiers \u00e0 user de la violence contre eux. Cependant, cet essai s\u2019int\u00e9resse plut\u00f4t \u00e0 la violence perp\u00e9tr\u00e9e par les noirs contre les noirs\u2014. Il met en exergue comment les noirs exercent la violence sur d\u2019autres noirs due \u00e0 leur insatisfaction dans leur environnement \u00e0 forte majorit\u00e9 blanche.
