Cet \u00eatre singulier n\u2019a pas, en effet, \u00e9chapp\u00e9 \u00e0 la verve cr\u00e9atrice de l\u2019art des \u00e9crivains. Ainsi peut-on noter aujourd\u2019hui de nombreux travaux consacr\u00e9s \u00e0 la femme dans les \u0153uvres. G\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, ces travaux pr\u00e9sentent la femme dans sa double dimension morale. Au-del\u00e0 de cette ambivalence morale, la femme est \u00e9galement per\u00e7ue physiquement \u00e0 travers les \u0153uvres africaines. Malheureusement, cet aspect, pourtant important, est tr\u00e8s peu \u00e9voqu\u00e9 dans les travaux de recherches scientifiques. Cet article a donc pour objectif d\u2019appr\u00e9hender la repr\u00e9sentation des corps f\u00e9minins telle qu\u2019elle est pr\u00e9sente et repr\u00e9sent\u00e9e physiquement dans Celles qui attendent de Fatou Diome, d\u2019autant plus que souvent, dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 traditionnelle africaine, la femme, au-del\u00e0 de son statut social, s\u2019identifiait clairement par son physique et ses habillements contrairement \u00e0 celle d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Mots-cl\u00e9s : Corps, femme, personnage, physique, repr\u00e9sentation.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Abstract:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Woman as a character has always been the subject of study in African literature. In fact, this singular being has not escaped the creative verve of the art of writers. Thus, we can note today of many critical works dedicated to woman in the works of art. Generally, these works present the woman in her double moral dimension. Beyond this moral ambivalence, women are also physically perceived through African works. Unfortunately, this aspect, though important, hardly receives due attention in scientific research.
