En termes de recherche, une question se pose : quelles sont les logiques socio-anthropologiques qui soustendent l\u2019animation nocturne des march\u00e9s au sud du Togo ? Il ressort de cette interrogation l\u2019hypoth\u00e8se selon laquelle l\u2019animation nocturne des march\u00e9s au sud du Togo s\u2019explique par des rationalit\u00e9s socio-historiques. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Essentiellement qualitative, la m\u00e9thode adopt\u00e9e a permis de faire, au total, 268 entretiens individuels et 09 focus group. Il ressort des donn\u00e9es <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">collect\u00e9es trois principaux r\u00e9sultats. D\u2019une part, la recherche du gain oriente fondamentalement l\u2019animation nocturne des march\u00e9s depuis <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">l\u2019\u00e9poque de son initiation jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent au sud du Togo. D\u2019autre part, une question d\u2019exploitation des terres cultivables assez \u00e9loign\u00e9es des <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">habitations se pose : des paysans parcourent de tr\u00e8s longues distances avant de ramener des produits agricoles \u00e0 commercialiser sur les march\u00e9s locaux. Par ailleurs, le choix collectif \u00e9rig\u00e9 en une tradition, observ\u00e9e de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration en g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, sous-tend \u00e9galement l\u2019animation nocturne des march\u00e9s. In terms of research, a question arises: what are the socioanthropological <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">logics underlying the nocturnal animation of markets in southern Togo? This question leads to the hypothesis that the nocturnal animation of markets in southern Togo can be explained by socio-historical rationalities. Essentially qualitative, the method adopted involved a total of 268 individual interviews and 09 focus groups. Three main findings emerge from the data collected. On the one hand, the pursuit of profit has fundamentally guided night-time market activity from the time of its initiation to the present day in southern Togo. On the other hand, there is the question of how to exploit arable land that is quite a distance from homes: farmers travel very long distances before bringing back agricultural produce to sell on local markets. In addition, the collective choice set up as a tradition, observed from generation to generation, also underpins the <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">nocturnal animation of markets.
