Dans ce contexte, les aires marines prot\u00e9g\u00e9es (AMP) apparaissent comme un instrument potentiel de conservation et de gestion durable des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes marins. Toutefois, leur mise en \u0153uvre soul\u00e8ve des enjeux sociaux majeurs, notamment en ce qui concerne les moyens de subsistance des communaut\u00e9s c\u00f4ti\u00e8res.Cet article analyse les conditions d\u2019un \u00e9quilibre entre conservation marine et d\u00e9veloppement socio-\u00e9conomique au Togo, en mettant l\u2019accent sur le r\u00f4le central des communaut\u00e9s locales et sur la promotion d\u2019une \u00e9conomie bleue durable. Il met en \u00e9vidence que la r\u00e9ussite des futures politiques d\u2019AMP d\u00e9pendra de leur acceptabilit\u00e9 sociale, de la gouvernance interinstitutionnelle et de l\u2019int\u00e9gration des dynamiques \u00e9conomiques locales.<\/p>\n<p>Mots-cl\u00e9s : aires marines prot\u00e9g\u00e9es ; communaut\u00e9s c\u00f4ti\u00e8res ; \u00c9conomie bleue ; louvernance maritime ; Togo.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Despite its limited coastline of approximately 50 km, Togo faces major challenges in coastal and maritime governance related to the overexploitation of fisheries resources, coastal erosion, and the impacts of climate change. In this context, marine protected areas (MPAs) are increasingly considered a potential instrument for the conservation and sustainable management of marine ecosystems. However, their implementation raises significant social challenges, particularly regarding the livelihoods of coastal communities.<br \/>\nThis article examines the conditions for achieving a balance between marine conservation and socio-economic development in Togo, with a particular emphasis on the central role of local communities and the promotion of a sustainable blue economy.
