While it stands against anthropocentrism, the article promotes nature\u2019s rights through womanist ideology because man\u2019s fate is always linked to his environment. Therefore, it becomes relevant to promote collaboration between man and the ecosystem that surrounds him.\u00a0 When environment goes well, chances are that man will enjoy a peaceful and better place for a safe life. The article argues that it becomes urgent for man and his environment to collaborate. This collaboration means that man should recognize nature\u2019s rights and protect them accordingly. Through a womanist study of Wole Soyinka\u2019s play, this article examines how the womanist ideology should be applied to ecosystem and its related studies to promote environmental protection to meet the Sustainable Development Goals.\u00a0 The study reveals that ecowomanism becomes an alternative to anthropocentrism to minimize ecological crises.\u00a0 As such, my study contributes to environmental restoration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keywords :<\/strong> Anthropocentrism, Biocentrism, Ecowomanism, eco-justice, sustainable environment.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><strong>R\u00e9sum\u00e9 <\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cet article est sous-tendu par l\u2019approche womaniste de l\u2019\u00e9cologie dans le th\u00e9\u00e2tre africain anglophone par le biais de la lecture de <em>A Dance of the Forests <\/em>de Wole Soyinka. Tout en s\u2019opposant \u00e0 l\u2019anthropocentrisme, l\u2019article promeut les droits de la nature \u00e0 travers l\u2019id\u00e9ologie womaniste car le destin de l\u2019homme est toujours li\u00e9 \u00e0 son environnement. Il devient donc important de promouvoir la collaboration entre l\u2019homme et l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me qui l\u2019entoure. Lorsque l\u2019environnement se porte bien, il y a de fortes chances que l\u2019homme jouisse d\u2019un environnement paisible et meilleur pour une vie saine. L\u2019article soutient qu\u2019il devient urgent que l\u2019homme et son environnement collaborent. Cette collaboration signifie que l\u2019homme doit reconna\u00eetre les droits de la nature et les prot\u00e9ger en cons\u00e9quence. \u00c0 travers cette \u00e9tude womaniste de la pi\u00e8ce th\u00e9\u00e2trale de Soyinka, cet article examine comment l\u2019id\u00e9ologie womaniste devrait \u00eatre appliqu\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me et \u00e0 ses \u00e9tudes connexes afin de promouvoir la protection de l\u2019environnement et d\u2019atteindre les Objectifs de D\u00e9veloppement Durable. L\u2019\u00e9tude r\u00e9v\u00e8le que l\u2019\u00e9cowomanisme devient une alternative \u00e0 l\u2019anthropocentrisme pour minimiser la crise \u00e9cologique.
