L\u2019ali\u00e9nation, la corruption, l\u2019illusion, qui y sont d\u00e9voil\u00e9es, suscitent les interrogations sur l\u2019essence de la religion. Il se sert de la repr\u00e9sentation de la religion pour interpeller les Africains, surtout les dirigeants pour une meilleure prise de conscience. En d\u00e9finitive, cette \u00e9tude veut nous convaincre de la hardiesse de Soyinka \u00e0 cristalliser les probl\u00e8mes de l&rsquo;Afrique contemporaine. <em>Les Tribulations De Fr\u00e8re J\u00e9ro<\/em> fait aveu de sa douleur au constat que son peuple est travers\u00e9 par le poison de la corruption et de la d\u00e9gradation des m\u0153urs sociales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Mots-cl\u00e9s\u00a0:<\/strong> Religion, Dramatisation, Ali\u00e9nation, Corruption, D\u00e9gradation des m\u0153urs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Abstract<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The dramatization of religion in <em>The Trials of Brother Jero<\/em> that reveals Wole Soyinka\u2019s project crystallizes the social problems of contemporary Africa mainly those related to religion. Alienation, corruption and illusion which are revealed raise questions on the nature of religion. Through the representation of religion, he addresses the Africans especially the leaders for a better realization. All in all, this study has convinced us on the boldness of Soyinka to crystallize the social problems of contemporary Africa.
