Longtemps consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme l\u2019apanage des sciences dites dures, les luttes pro-environnementales, pour \u00eatre efficaces, n\u00e9cessitent d\u00e9sormais des actions coordonn\u00e9es de tous les domaines du savoir. Voil\u00e0 pourquoi la litt\u00e9rature, par ses mondes fictifs prot\u00e9iformes, s\u2019invite dans ces luttes pour attirer l\u2019attention de l\u2019humanit\u00e9 sur les dangers li\u00e9s \u00e0 la destruction des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes forestiers. En vue d\u2019illustrer la contribution r\u00e9elle de la litt\u00e9rature \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9co-conscientisation, deux romans africains font autorit\u00e9 \u00e0 travers leur discours \u00e9cocritique. Ils analysent le rapport qui existe entre crise environnementale et\/ou \u00e9cologique et catastrophe sanitaire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Mots-cl\u00e9s\u00a0:<\/strong> Crise, environnement, \u00e9cologie, litt\u00e9rature, \u00e9cocritique.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 This article shows that literature can make an effective contribution to safeguarding the ecosystems of the \u201cblue planet\u201d. The so-called hard sciences were long considered to be the domain of the pro-environmental movement, but to be effective it now requires coordinated action from all fields of knowledge. That is why literature, with its protean fictional worlds, is taking part in these struggles to draw humanity\u2019s attention to the dangers of destroying forest ecosystems. In order to illustrate the real contribution of literature to eco-consciousness, two African novels stand out for their ecocritical discourse.
