Zusammenfassung
Dieser Beitrag untersucht zuerst didaktischbezogen die praktischen Bedingungen des Tourismusunterrichts, dann greift er seine berufsorientierten Aspekte auf, um hervorzuheben, wie ein afrikanischer Germanist dank dem Tourismusunterricht seinen zukünftigen Berufshorizont erweitern kann. Das Unterrichten von Tourismus in der Germanistikabteilung erzielt die Ausbildung von zukünftigen deutschsprachigen Reiseführern. Dabei ist den Lehrenden ganz bewusst, dass sich ihre Lernziele um Kultur und Sprache drehen werden. Die Studentinnen und Studenten der Germanistikabteilung haben bei diesem Unterricht die Gelegenheit, sich die Bräuche und Werte der eigenen Kultur anzueignen, um sie später bei Bedarf zu vermitteln, aber auch anhand der persönlichen Erfahrungen die angebotenen Curricula zu hinterfragen. In diesem Sinne zielt das Unterrichten von Tourismus nicht nur auf die Persönlichkeitsbildung, sondern auch auf die Berufsperspektiven ab. Doch werfen die Komponenten dieses Unterrichts andere Fragen auf, die im afrikanischen Kontext nicht übersehen werden sollten. Schlüsselbegriffe: Germanistik, Tourismus, Kultur, Zukunftsperspektive
Résumé
Cette contribution étudie, sur la base de la didactique, les raisons pratiques de l’enseignement du tourisme tout en prenant en compte ses aspects professionnalisants. L’objectif est de mettre en évidence le fait qu’un germaniste africain puisse, grâce à l’allemand du tourisme, élargir son horizon professionnel. L’enseignement du tourisme au Département des études germaniques vise à former de futurs guides touristiques de langue allemande. Ceci amène l’enseignant à prendre conscience du fait qu’il est essentiellement question de culture et de langue, afin d’orienter les apprenants vers l’objectif du cours. Pour les étudiants au Département des Études Germaniques, cette unité d‘enseignement représente une opportunité de partage d’expériences personnelles et culturelles. Ceci devrait leur permettre de confronter leur savoir dans le domaine à l’offre de formation qui leur est proposée par un questionnement édifiant. L’enseignement vise dans ce sens non seulement la formation personnelle mais aussi les opportunités professionnelles. Les composantes de cet enseignement soulèvent d’autres questions qu’on ne devrait pas passer sous silence dans le contexte africain.

Abstract
This study examines, on the basis of didactics, the practical reasons for teaching tourism while taking into account its professionalizing aspects. The aim is to show that an African Germanist can broaden his or her professional horizons through German for tourism. The teaching of tourism in the Department of German studies aims to train future German-speaking tourist guides. This makes the teacher aware of the fact that it is essentially about culture and language, in order to orientate the learners towards the objective of the course. For students in the Department of German studies, this teaching unit offers an opportunity for the sharing of personal and cultural experiences. This should enable them to confront their knowledge in the field with the area of concentration that is proposed to them through the raising of an edifying set of questions. In this sense, this course aims not only at personal training but also at professional opportunities. The components of this training opportunity raise other questions that should attract attention in the African context.
